I grew up in South Africa, and I’ve called the UK home for over two decades. The 35 years I spent in marketing taught me to truly listen, find the story beneath the surface, and tell it in a way that moves people. I spent a huge part of my life on stage as a trained dancer and performer. I know what it feels like when a room is completely, collectively alive in a single shared moment. That feeling is what I’m always reaching for.
I’ve been happily married for 29 years, my two adult children keep me grounded and very much in touch with the world, and I am someone who finds genuine joy in people, their stories, and all things love.
Two years ago, at my niece’s wedding in Melbourne, I experienced my first celebrant-led ceremony. I left knowing exactly what I wanted to do next…

With a background in marketing and theatre, I bring something most celebrants simply can’t: an instinct for narrative, a feel for pacing and emotion, and the ability to hold a room. I know how to craft words that land, how to read an audience, and how to create those goosebump moments that stay with people long after the confetti has settled.
